Glamour Travel -Twice Daily

Martyred remarks give weight to
Fertile breeding, fertile breeding
Fingers of words tiptoe forth
Grasping, clinging….
Coherent nature, as she strolls across the stars
Giving thanks for children immigrants moving north
Keeping files on perceptive structures…
Borrowing Alexandria and her conspicuous manicure
Of daunting ambition and inventions

Rolling currency into urban realism
Hamlets of multi ethnical cosmos
Collecting mummies for future weddings
Safe-guarded diamonds, deposited in rock
Captives of human life, remaining open…demanding rhyme
Folding cliffs paint a river sound…breathing

Eternal essence smiles a course
With a habit of notice, jogging
To a launch which evades self-deception
Launching echoes to the world like a coyote
With each new moon and its surge of music
Into a world’s thumping nature

Pulling us in a ring of pure mysticism
A sea-train heading round the bend
Towards the innocent voice of morning
Tormented legends step onto sunny porches
Tasting the sweet sound of glockenspiels

Clarity walks through the eye of a needle
Transforming years of work into paramount minds
Wild life sanctuaries diaper hangovers
Summer naps generous…filling the well of love
Where magical friends of children never grow up

Affection skips into a state of direction,
Sailing an endless rolling sea and her imperative mood
Flying white herons, portrait the human mind
Where great white stallions frolic in meadows

Giving meaning to “Travels with the Muse”
By means of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge~
Sweet machine of source and thought
Places a magnet on my refrigerator with a note
“A Memory is Fathered by Youth”

What a wonderful vision this brings to mind…. Well as long as those glockenspiels are not KooKoos… Ya?

Another great write Lee J.  This one is pure magic.

LeeJ - I, too, am speechless.  I'm saving this beauty to study -- yes, did you know I study your poems?!  They are always masterworks!
