Shape of Things To Come

The Seeded Clone…
Futile,
Anxious,
Mind and soul,
flesh and bone,
Meager men a’ high fettered thrones.
Moving promptly on their rusty red roans
Hiding behind liver chestnut painted homes.
Pretending not what they are, but what they own
And yet, being exactly what they are, the seeded clone.
Useless.....………………….....and.…………………….....Alone.

We all go through birth and death alone so perhaps life is added to the list as well. I mean, does anyone ever hold hands with who we truly are inside?

One of the things
I like about your poetry
is that you use words
I would or have used
before.

Not common words...
which makes it all the better.
