Conundrum

I know this is silly and so hard to understand
Look to the first letter to make it all a’ grand
Oh, you might say, this is silly, and I just won’t understand
Very much time is wasted and this is oh so bland
Even if I knew, what you are trying to say
You could make it easer, if you just wrote straight away
On the other hand, spell it out, just what this riddle implies
Under all the lines are letters a message there elides
