memories slide across my face like petals of bougainvillaea falling into cheerless autumn space dyed in faded hues of dull red they hurtle hurtlessly after all, there’s no pain when withered skin is peeled away that is perhaps the wry nature of love first found with difficulty then lost easily in a spiralling tail-spin of emote remotely memories slide across my face like similar scenes from blockbuster movies that millions have watched and more would still watch again and again only the cast will change like new leaves in a new bloom springing out with change of seasons |
