Farthest fathoms await thee,
amber light to shine thy way.
Faith in the ultimate power of love.

Fall deep into my heart,
of passion, of peace, of tranquility.
Swim to the very deepest recesses,
find the pearls, shining, glowing.

Nacreous pearls of my very best love,
held tightly shut, within the hardest shelled clams.
Only one may touch the shells,
to release the pearls, you fisherwoman.

You are the light to illumniate my love,
shine it to the darkest depths,
bring it to life.Swim and fill
it with radiant beauty blessed.

Wow!

I not only loved reading this, but I feel this, too! I, too, continue to wait for the "one" brave enough to search me out and tap into my inner self. Very impressive. This is the second poem I have read since my return to PIP, and I will echo what I said before - I have been gone wayyyyy too long!

Without the other, where would we be? Today in this world, seems like everyone wants love, yet once acheived, we don't know how to care for it.
