Oh sweet sorrow
Where do you find me?
Resting in the shadows
Of your bitterness

Your crying song haunts me
In a mournful serenade
Of times past and their beauty
Lost now to emptiness

Tear drops fall in longing
Of loved ones gone and missed
Calling into the marrow
For one last good-bye kiss

For one last wrap of arms
For one last sigh of joy
For one last lilt of laughter
For one last sound from lips

But you, Sweet Sorrow
Are all that’s left to me
In visions and aching soul
A lonely heart’s woeful tryst

S.A.T.

Missing my Mother.

Such agony expressed in excellent aching fashion. Alas no relief. I can only synoatguze...

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Beautiful.

I too, lost someone special recently, and I can think of no better tribute, or verse than this.

Thank you.

She is closer than you may think, Dear Susan...

I feel your love for, and the missing of, your mother. Very moving.
