Wind and rain carried prayers
Lifted from chakras
Sent universal to wild things,
Uniting me once again
By root mantra,
Sounding low
I come alive and wake, wake
What in cities is dead in me..
*
Alone in the wild
Standing  where everything,
And nothing wins
Or loses, without  plans;
Something is extracted
Yet the all remains
Everywhere, there is profit
But shared are all the gains.
*
No obligation
Or sitting on cruel stones
Of duty,
No need to change things where
Rendered is natural beauty
No advertisements
Or buyers frenzy,
Everything is free
Without contradiction
No need for money,
All one needs to pay
Are coins of concentration,
And a stare.
*
Back in the city....
I feel zombic,
Fixed with gasoline
For my cars addiction
Watching virus panics
Turn into mass madness
Everything is false prophesy,
Nothing of true necessity
In a civilization,
divided by political boundaries;
Lacking spiritual elegance
With no sense of place that's right to be.

To save some readers from having to go to the dictionary, I am posting this definition..Thanks for reading...

Chakras (Zen Meditation)
Energy centers (vortices) in the body. Responsible for the coordination and vitalization of all the bodies (mental, astral and physical) and their correlation with the soul, the main center of consciousness. There are seven major chakras and 42 lesser ones.

So very true Ice ... whether we go to the true wild to become lost in the beauty of nature, or whether we rise to a centre of our being beyond the outside world and chaos of daily life in the city ... I think we each seek peace and enlightenment beyond the daily grind. You've captured this beautifully. Much enjoyed!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Kit
Thank you for reading and the reply..

I have not been able to reach a high plane of meditation/comfort, in the city as of yet..but I do understand that I must, in order to gain the highest ground attainable. The chaos there is still very distracting, hopefully I will overcome this..I know I must as this is a sharp stone on the path to Nirvana.

Ice - I hear you loud and clear.  There is hope but we have to make our own choices.

Hello Mr. Ice!
You know I would enjoy this one!
Awakening
Above and beyond
what I see
feel,
hear and touch
absorbed by self
stamped by approval of
opening doors
a river flows
a third eye
in a world
in the heart of the matter
awakens a crown
consciously traveling, sent
thru the process
enhancing
enlightment
Another Zen-proud!

(big angel hugs) Oh Ford, I just moved into a city too (though Portland is actually quite beautiful for a city) and though it's better than the lethargy of suburbia, I too believe nature is the one and only refuge in where we can completely lose ourselves upliftingly spiritually! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, whenever the city gets you down, you know where you can go to find stillness of heart, yay, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ford, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
