Left poisoned, it becomes a wicked fruit
delectable as it carries a polished suit;
handed to tease a maiden in distress
a bite of this would lay stress to rest

Apple of my heart, fruit of my eye
baked into a perfect crusted pie;
laid on window sills to catch a breeze
wait till it cools down, will you please!

While computers and red Grannies mix
and Macintosh logos are bit and fixed,
the Big Apple wears its finest attire
nightlife screams over network wires...

At one time it shone from a tree of Life
but picked and eaten, meant certain strife,
delectable, polished orbs donned crimson suits
free to be poisoned, signaled an angel's flute...

Martin, I like what you've been doing with Apple and Orange.  I'll be waiting for another.
