Happy Mother's Day To My Daughter....Across The Miles

On this Mother's Day
a special day of days
I want you to know, my daughter
that you are thought of always

Through distance far we are not together
but our love has no space
I see you here in my heart
as if we were face to face

From the day you were born
you were most precious to me
A love for you like never felt
before or since do I see

Memories of when you were little
and a child in my arms
Come to my mind
of you and all your charms

With twinkling eyes of blue
and your pretty blonde hair
Always on your face
a beautiful smile you wear

You are a part of me
and no matter what happened there or now
Our bond is always strong
and holding on somehow

I hope, dear child of mine
your smile is still on your beautiful face
For you are most precious to me
you with all your grown-up grace

Even though you are grown-up
with girls of your own to see
Just remember, my sweet daughter
You will always be my little girl to me

happy day to your and yours and o we do feel like this towards our little girls, as they walk in our own high heels that they played dress up in ....
