I'm not sure what style of poetry this. While reading in the workshop forum I saw this form and decided to try it.

Doorway To Happiness
By Paul Wilson

In this lonely place where I dwell
No stories of joy do I tell
Darkness surrounds me day and night
This place on earth a living hell

Maybe one day I’ll see the light
My sadness will fade out of sight
Happiness will then fill my heart
Everything will then be all right

Searching for the place I must start
I look inside my saddened heart
I journey back to time before
From this sadness I must depart

On my journey I see a door
That takes me to forevermore
The room begins to spin around
With eyes closed I fall to the floor

From behind the door comes a sound
Quickly my heart begins to pound
Wondering what could this sound be
I ask while lying on the ground

As I stand up I now can see
It’s just a reflection of me
Smiling at who I use to be
Smiling at who I use to be

Ah Paul this is wonderful..
Although I do not know the name of this form
I'm sure others do and will agree on just how beautiful it is.

A nice poem with deep meaning. The good thing about reflections is that they are You.

Best wishes!
Jon
