"anyway,
as I was saying..."

smile?

I think that I forget.

But I love you
ever mad
I will take this to my grave
robbing corners squared of dirt
for a finger's prayer of us
.........the knowledge
we can only guess
the shroud
a linen memory
of you
of you
of you

I weep

for you
you are the closest thing

to the inside of my skin

that backdrop
of
pillows, lace
this bacon
coffee
cookies baked

icecream and the color brown
and the race................and
the sweat

that taste
of "no, we're not there yet"
says Dad,
and highway winks "almost"

all of it

the furrow's brow....
disappears
with you
your smile

a face that fits
beneath my chin

reconciling rationale

Iris grows inside the cave--

icecream

and the color brown

playing underside my lids
smiling in my sleep...

I dream

highway twining fingers mine.

This strikes me with song-like quality..

I could hum it in my head.

My turn to clean the mirrors, right?

*sigh*

Cant believe you need me, never thought I would be needed for anything.
Cant believe my shoulders carry such important weight as your tears.

smiling and battin' eyelashes at bri...

I was wondering if you'd recognize your own words!

gigglegleeeeeeeeeeeee

forgive me?

and as an explanation for the rest of you, I had owed our bri a duet for sometime--so...

wince and nod

I gathered these beautiful phrases from a collection I keep of brian's beautiful phrasings, and yep, much of this belongs to  and was inspired by him.

(I wuz just playin' baby. Forgive me?)

I tried to pick out my favorite lines but that would be the whole darn poem!

Wonderful work, very seemlessly woven -- you cannot tell which one of you wrote what.

serenity,
( please excuse the abbreviation) . Once again, you have turned my concepts of poetry
to a different direction. For the time being, I choose not to explore this chism between what I write, and what I truly am.
All pretentiousness aside, I envy your voice.

I wanted to extend my gratitude for all of this generosity.

Brian & I think so much alike that usually the only problem we have is saying the same thing at the same time!

So thanks and kisses to my deliciously talented madviking, and to all of you for the yummy "feel goods".

I do love this place.
