There is always something floating past,

when every hour is an open window

and there is always you

for the passing of clouds

and morning song.

The birds would sing of comfort

in another place

but here,

only wake me from being

somewhere else.

And this is I

tangled in sheets

and I don't know what I feel anymore

Oh it was easy

when days were intense

knowing emotions by their touch upon brain

from the waking of eyes

'til close

and I grieve for it

Really good poem, gemjop!  Don't feel bad, I'm kind of here and there, too.

Very cool write Gem.  I've been considering a similar thought lately.  The intensity is addicting, the rush like no other...

Hi Gemma
a good poem, as always. That's okay about not being here so much...I'm not either as much as I used to be. Hope you do good on your exams.
With hugs and love,
Ethel

I realize Duncan stole my favorite lines.. but they deserve more attention...I was blown away by those lines...the kind you have to read a few times to let the meaning sink in...outstanding Gemma!!

And good luck with your finals!!!
