Love Is The Reminder

During your absence
I continued to yearn
I have always hoped
That you would return

Situated in -between  
Neither high nor low
Yet hopeful I remain
Awaiting you to show

Forever missing you
I patiently persevere
Love will be waiting
Until next you appear

I trusted you my heart
In promised sincerity
Love is the reminder
You are special to me
