Her hands
Though ridden with pain, sometimes not able to do the things she wants them to do
Are still able to soothe the brow of a sick child, touch the heart of a broken soul

Her eyes
Though they may not be as sharp as when she was young,
and seem to be a little more tired at night,
Can still look deep into the heart of a sad child, to find and fix the problem
Are still able to cry for joy, or cry for the pain she feels when others are hurting

Her body
Though it may not be perfect, and life struggles are seen upon it,
Has no problem gathering her child and holding it close,
until all things are better once again

Her lips
Though the words may come a little slower, and the repetitiveness a bit more often,
Still hold the magic of healing life’s little bumps and bruises in one little kiss,
and can still speak the words to calm a scared soul

Her mind
Though thoughts may be less clear, or some memories un-existent
Still remembers the first day of school, the first boyfriend, the first time her child
gained the understanding of Jesus and His love

Her children
Though a little older, a little more headstrong, a little more stubborn
Still love her dearly and cherish her for every single moment of life,
For it is through her that it is all possible

Her love
Unconditional, never-changing, only growing

"Her love
Unconditional, never-changing, only growing"

This is a beautiful tribute that could apply
to your mother or anyones here.
Soft and gentle...lovely piece of work.

Beautifully written and well expressed.  Your mother, I can tell, is your heart.
