She put finger to my protesting lips
And bid me quiet with her smile
Then drew on dry earth a circle
she filled with herself
So that the shimmer of light
Across the surface of skin
Danced against the corners of my eyes
An illusion till I looked straight in
Then bloomed colors of grey against the blue
unless I moved

Then it was of brown and green

She rose in slow
    Bent legs unfolded
As I watched the grace of move
And lost those things but moments ago
I saw reflected in her soul

Hungry this the flesh
To hold such treasured gem
I found myself in drench
As hands passed through
The parted hems of light and warmed
By all within leaving  me in a drown of wish
Knew I could not own

Again her finger found my face
And traced a line to chin
With laugh and simply blousing sway of skirt
She danced a step away
To fold her legs and settle down
In circle she had drawn

A puddled bit of rippled silk
Refractions of a dream

I want some of that fabric.

Oh my, oh my, Capt. Ron. You do write romance
so well. And anything else that you
decide to write, too.

I'm always hoping these tales are real, Ron.

Very sweetly written.

Your words make this all come alive in my mind.  Yu paint pictures with words...and create experiences by describing moments.  Wonderful and very much enjoyed. Wow Ron!!

This is a style that I could never write. The imagery and words seemed to be like the fabric of silk previously mentioned. Well written.
