With misted eyes
I search the horizon
for glimpse of you;
I am sailing on a sea of soft illusions,
beneath the swell and waves
are secrets kept from both of us.

I imagine your line,
the softness of your being,
the smell of your truth;
my eyes seek an horizon beyond reach,
yet my yearning does not seek
the easy choice of soft realities.

If only longing had the power
to bring you to me,
that I might taste your essence

once more.

Thank you Icy!

that was an amazing duet between spirituality and materialism...

  if writing together results in such pieces, then we should all try this *smile*

You almost took me by force in doing this...not a common experience for me.

I enjoyed it, thanks!
