(To be read after reading Balladeer's fine poem: God Bless The Golfers"

Whizzin in the woods
While hunting for your balls
The men's rooms now the whole wide world
Not just down the hall.

But I've heard is said, and think I've read
There's a "Tiger" in them "Woods"
And "crouching" down, near that ground
Is a hazard to your goods..

If you drink beer at every hole
And play a round straight thru
You'll surely need a forest green
To pass a quart or two.

'Deer' eats beans between the greens,
And boiled eggs in 'roughs'
Then hides behind a southern pine
To do his private stuff.

Then one time not long ago
No trees were near for 'Deer'
So he wound up-hit the cup,
His first 'hole-in-one' in years.

There are few things in this wide world
Which can be termed more foul
Than being plagued on fairways by
The movement of a bowel!

The clubhouse is two miles away.
The port-o-lets all stink.
What can one do with all the beer
That one was forced to drink?

Hunters all know what to do.
So did Lewis and Clark.
We take a trip into the woods
And wet a little bark.

Our nutrients blend in with the soil
No water wasted flushing.
With only guys around no need
For any silly blushing.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep
All through the brush the golfers creep
With miles to go before they sleep..
Wirh miles to go before they sleep..
