Streets can be of gold
But to the one who is cold
Is a falsity among love
Of rocking cries above night
The city comes and goes
But you stay a long while
Across the plume, the great mile
Ahead is the light we follow
Among blue skies come the cries
Of a heart that doesn’t belong
In the body and out of the skin
The blue bottle may arise
Coming on down the blue skies

I was just kinda wondering if anyone is strictly a free verse poet here? I don't mean to limit my writing I just feel that i convey my thoughts better with free verse. Is anyone else?

Andrew~
WELCOME to Passions' circle of poets and friends~

I enjoyed the imagery in your post~

We have many, many "free versers" here ...
take a look at Martie ... she is one of the bestest there is~

Share some of your free verse with us~

I am a 'rhymer' by nature .. but venture into whatever ink my quill gifts me with~

Welcome to Passions. I hope that you enjoy it here as much
as we all do. And, write however you feel. There are some
of all different forms here and in the archives.
I hope that you enjoy yourself.
Hugs,
Ethel

Welcome!

I also like free verse, but I have never gotten any good at it.  Would like to one day.

Loved the poem and M...If you mean by freeverse just off the top of your head. That works for me also. In fact most of the poetry I'll be writing here will be off the top.

Softly fading in memories tread a galaxy of nothing never-ending but beautiful..
like lilies
hope
hot without flare inside a furnace of blue passion.

Sincerely,
B
