A river so dry it cries its own flow
The atmoic wasteland we all used to know

You stop, the rubble and mess crunch under your feet

You look back, then realize, that this was your street

You drop to your knees, and weep for the lost

Your soul dies in sorrow, from this nuclear holocaust

Once again, a poem I feel very strongly about...

It sucks they closed the thread on your Democracy poem... I had some more to say but I didn't get to it in time... some people are just too wrapped up in their own engraved beliefs to tolerate others'...

Anyways... I really like this one too

"love is but a song we sing and fear's the way we die"

"A river so dry it cries its own flow"

Very cool line.
