A Whisper On The Wind Tonight, too cold to sleep, I lie beneath a sky set deep with stars. The ground is damp and chills my skin. I think of other nights and you beside me like a promise, like a dream that never needed waking. Love was easy then, and nights like this were few. I think of you now, a whisper carried by the wind to haunt me. |

it is an older poem....one that was meant to be the start of a longer piece but I suddenly realized it is complete as it is.Marge, how nice to see your name again...I have been away much too long! And truly, I believe everything I write is absolutely from my heart  |
