{Upon watching my daughters pick apples}

I flow between tides and waves
pale amber for this silent moment

there were stars
a crimson flare of falling planets

somewhat like:

I, part of your soul,
You, part of my breath

pausing in tones

the orchards are full
the world still

I have found the child again
           inside smiling
captured a moment
among the edge of age

It was rainy yesterday --
but I could not remember

I have my picture of heart
that only  river and wind could witness
dipped in shallows

if they touch me this way
I am never alone

What a loving gift for your children Lauren.
They do have a way of bringing out our inner child.
Lovely lovely...so gently spoken.
Love ya pretty lady~
