~*~
Playing in the showers
Of April once again
Acting like little children
As we are playing in the rain

Happy and free as birds
flying up in the air
as free as free can be
having not a care

Beautiful flowers blooming
bring a smile to our face
Each sensitive petal
as delicate as fine lace

Looking all around us
we see colors everywhere
Pink, yellow, red and blue
Spring time is in the air
~*~

Beautiful poem, I love the colors and scents of spring.

And, I'm sure I'm late to this, I just haven't hardly been here lately... but it's SO great to finally see your picture! Just what I'd imagined too Lovely!

It is in your poem Ethel ... unfortunately it isn't here -- winter has fought back this weekend

Yes, Dear Ethel Mae! Spring is definitely in the air and thank you for illustrating that so delightfully through your light and breezy poem!

Ethel, I thought I posted here once, but when I re-read it, I saw I hadn't so I am now!  There was such an a youthful innoncence about this; I just loved it!   ....jo
