For those who want to know you can find her here....or such of herself as she chooses to show the world. There is much more. http://www.shamiradance.com/

Shamira, Dancing

Music is a picture of time,
dance a vision of living.
You transcend both sound and motion,
bless them with a loving counterpoint
but you are never of them.
For those suspended moments the world
flows through you, round you,
ethereal water in your thrall;
you live the time within the music,
give time to the life within the dance:
They exist to serve you
as you serve them, so intimately
and delicately spiced, to us.

Yes... she looks like an angel, doesn't she?

But what actually inspired this poem was a CD of her piano compositions, that she sent me a while back. A beautiful lady, in all ways.

Ed

I have her belly dancing lessons CD...and tried one time to follow...takes some practice I imagine, and also some natural grace.  She is lovely as is your poem.  I hope you send it to her.
