Floating gently on a cloud....

0 posted 2004-04-30 01:00 PM

Beautiful rain,
In my eyes.
Rain on me
Saturate me with sound.
Sky awash with silence,
Crashing, cacophanous noiselessness,
The clouds of yesterday passing through.
Memories running down my cheeks.

You were there,
Dressed as an angel.
On your jerky frame were gossamer wings,
Fanning my conscience with possibility.
A butterfly passing through,
I was a radiant flower.
You sipped my nectar and were gone.
Now the rain batters my eyes, my lips, my nose,
You forgot responsability for your rose.

How can something so sad ... be SO beautiful?
And yet ... it is~

Love you gal~

The phrasing in this is absolutely wonderful Lizzie, and the visuals are stunning ... such a beautiful read.  I really enjoyed this. So good to see you, too!

Best wishes,
/Kit

There you were, like a flower and here comes the butterfly to taste your nectar and leave... I like the analogy, a lot. enjoyed!
