Pouring Metaphors

Metaphors pour minds explore
As Seymour holds the open door
And candelabras flicker light
Dancing phantoms in the night

They show in moves of mist on mist
A sophist in a word of twist
Ever sifting poems of rhyme
To ride upon the crest of time

It is a magic carpet ride
With symbol oars to work the tide
Making whirl pools in the sand
Upon the soil of Samarkand

He walks the nether world of ID
Opening up Pandora’s lid
And there he finds the ebb of tide
To circumvent the flow of pride

It’s there he finds his guiding star
To guide him to his Shangri-la

YES--you are our morning mug of mocha-metaphor -- our cup of cadenced cappuccino.

Our daily dose of rhymes divine with wisdom on the side.

( and lest us not forget --
Randy is our raspberry tea) LOL

what would we indeed do, without our magic carpets?  Isn't it great Sy...traveling that way...less costly fuel, no fumes...and, no inspections needed...smiles

Excellent write my friend.

Good morning kind sir...wishing you and yours a great day, and a wonderful weekend...it's going to be a beaut out here in PA.
