Wondering where the ideas lurk
Ideas we need
To make it all work
Ideally they would jump right out
But often critical assertions make them pout
You know the one I mean
Criticism takes out the steam
Makes the idea person sad or mad
Sometimes both if it is really bad
Ideals also get berated
Just why believe that way
The critical monster’s never sated
Ideas form and build with confidence
Ideas crash so easily
Wouldn’t we be better
If they were free
