To Fill the Hollow

Simply put,
it involves some sort of thermodynamic process
wherein molecules of water vapor collect on dust particles.
Before that, generally in a meadow, on a clear night,
when stars are thick above a hilltop,
heat escapes from the earth's surface
in an amount sufficient
to wrap the couple in a blanket.
Once condensed, the moist air
slips into the valley.
In the morning her ankles chill
as they hurry through it.

I will admit I wish I had written this...
very unusual.

Bob,

Hello, old friend, hope all is well with you and yours!

I like the weaving of science with the heart; it shows the talents of a poet with skills in both the real and the poetic.
