We stand naked in the flames
To melt of shields prodigious claims
There passion laps the dew that beads the flesh
Composed uncertain hedges, remodeled in fine thresh

To cool in mime of breathy pillowed sighs
More round and thorough these designs arise
That bears of secret longings into fire’s purified rite
Renewed in transformation that brings our dreams to light

Our eyes the chalice for the heart of things
Once worn upon the sleeve now rapt in silver wings
Unshackled and undressed of false belief that yearns
To stand within the fire - expanding as it burns

Fabulous penning!  Really liked this last verse a lot and the way you look at things, TD!
