Isn't Spring A Beautiful Season?

The Tree of Seasons

The wind is blowing with a chill in the air.
“Winter is near!” The wind does say.
For the tree has lost all her leaves and has no gown.
But winter is near to give her a new gown of-
crystal ice and brilliant snow of lace.
“Oh look!” The wind does say.
The blanket of snow is no longer on the tree .

The wind is blowing warmer now.
“Spring is here!” The wind does say.
The tree’s new gown is of greens and golds-
Her new buds of color are a beauty to behold.
The tree loves her new gown of greens and golds.

The wind and the sun are much warmer now.
“Summer is here!” The wind does say.
The tree’s newgown has turned into a bouquet
of brilliant colored flowers which have
the fragrance of the finest perfume.
The tree loves her new gown of
colored flowers and fragrant perfume.

The wind is blowing harder now.
“Fall is here!” The wind does say.
The tree’s leaves blow to the ground-
The tree says, “I have no gown.”
But the wind does say, “Winter is near.”
You will have a new gown of
crystal ice and brilliant snow of lace.
“For the season of winter is near.”The wind does say.

Your words did it justice~

Oh MY ... I just can't tell you enough how fantabulous I think it is~

Bonnie -- what a lovely picture and it does look like a gown.  You've dressed the tree well in your poem!
