The Simple

I found the simple tucked inside
The scares upon a welted hide
Resting in a fools delay
Lost somewhere along the way

Underneath a film of grime
Waiting for a moments time
To show itself in simple flair
As simple as a touch of care

And with that touch a world born new
More clearly viewed and much more true
Set a field of greenery
A deferent look of scenery

In truth it was the same I saw
But viewed within a minds report
And thistles that had once drawn red
Was now subdued and put to bed

I empathize with those that need
And say to plant another seed

Sometimes a wee bit of effort
can make things just that simple...

Smiling with you, Sy...

Ah, to plant another seed...in field or mind to see what will grow.  Of course at our house we just burn off the pasture every Spring and then watch a black turn back to green in a week or two.  Lovely contruction.  I enjoy reading your work.

Seymour, this is such wisdom you have written!!
Sometimes we worry so about things that are
so unecessary to worry about...such simple things.
Have a wonderful day.....
