I dance naked in your presence
Exposure a thing I have not given before
I shield myself no more

I swim in the pool of completion
No longer looking for the shallow end
Venturing to transcend

Warmth of light wraps me
I let it brown the white of skin
Letting out what hid within

My rebirth, penance of another’s sin

I breathe easier now
Feeling the hand upon the small of back
I have taken from self, what I feared in lack

The walls no longer creep and recede
The gift has stilled the darkness of doubt
Clarity sights me of that which I was without

I dance naked before you
Wild in abandonment of desire
I become ambient in consumption of fire

In this the rebirth of my require

"cast me gently into the morning, for the night has been unkind"
~Sarah McLachlan~

Can you hear my cries, can you hear my pleads, will you watch me burn...or would you bleed for me?

Susan, this is so hard to do sometimes....to
pull all the shield that we have hidden behind away.....

I think this is the meaning you meant?

(now this part.....whew!!
I dance naked before you
Wild in abandonment of desire
I become ambient in consumption of fire

In this the rebirth of my require
)

Thank you all!

Ethel?  Yes that is the meaning...the SO says he now knows all of me even that which I try to hide...my reply?

LOL

Remember, a true lover sees all of us whether we try to hide or not, and accepts all they see. That makes any kind of nakedness a matter of window dressing, because all is known, and all is loved already.
