Feeling Touch
*
M. Freeman
*
I took his hand in mine,
pressed and caressed.
I held his,
as mine was held.
stroked his knuckles,
his palms,
then realized
the finger I lightly traced
was mine.
how strange to touch,
such tenderness.

Very nice M. Freeman
Sometimes when I touch a newborns skin I feel no tactile sensation, my fingers are to rough I guess, but I know they are brailing something, something tender and spiritual, such as is this poem...
enjoyed
