Raging Epidemic

An illness is striking the world and your next door neighbor.
This malady seeping into every corner of our everyday life.
Reaching far and wide, mowing down anyone who gets within its path.
This illness getting stronger and stronger-
As its host gets weaker and weaker.
So many names it goes by-
Hate, rudeness, hardened heart, being shameless and filled with greed.
Being critical because it is for your own good.
This is the only way for you to grow.
Being rude to a stranger because you don’t know them.
Be as uncaring as you want in cyber space.
They don’t know who you are.
They don’t know where you live.
You feel you can say anything, no one will know.
The term road rage.
Is that not showing hatred for your fellowman?
Saying I am not responsible for my actions.
It is always someone else's fault.
We have a raging epidemic that is out of control.
Many are blind to the hatred that is growing rampant.
Saying nothing has changed you are over reacting.
This epidemic, likened to a run a way train that is
heading for the main terminal
filled with innocent lives.
Do you hear the warning whistle as it screams
out its deadly warning?
The time is drawing near and this illness will
be recognized and locked in quarantine.
Do not be tempted to join the unclean one in his vile ways.
This disease is powerful, but in the end, the outcome is only total
annihilation.
Be alert.
Raise your head high.
Hear the warning whistle as it cries out into the night.
The cure is in the air and this epidemic will be no more.

Bon-Bon

Agree 100% Bon-bon... I think maybe we've had it too good too long and no longer appreciate what we do have....jwesley
