There’s a fox out in the henhouse,
Get a gun, Pa, get a gun,
Twelve gauge loaded double ought,
Better run, fox, better run.
Fur and feathers started flying,
Fox is dead, bang, fox is dead.
To the house with his gun a toting,
Back to bed, Pa, back to bed.
The hens and Pa all sleeping,
That’s the end, yep, that’s the end.
All is well out in the henhouse,
Adios, yep, adios friend.
