Wearing the shade of sky
the ocean leads me now
to solitude,

shunning my pleas,
its face erases
but for a lifeline of foam
whitening the smother of darkness,

i drift in transition
as the dead hours take over

lost in a lullaby

  ...the ocean is mantra
  ...the ocean is mantra

my belly beams with fullness

  ...i swallow the ocean
  ...i swallow the sea
  ...i swallow the horizon

and keep vigil within me

until the sun comes
on the moon's spin
and returns all to be

I felt this restless space between awake and asleep.  You described that lullaby so very well. TD

Love the new picture!

I also loved the visual this invoked...but then you have a way of doing that.

For some reason this reminded me of the quiet peacefull lull in a storm. Very well written, put me at ease.
