of eyes unclouded by longing;
those who are bound by desire
reach only the outward shell.

The Way is a watershed
from which awareness flows;
life is the flood plain and
the female of existence
tranquil, underneath,
it overcomes the male.

A deep pool the Way is,
never to run dry.
Where it may flow
I do not know
for it is as a preface to God.

Icebox, you're amazing! I think the secret lies in the eyes "not being clouded by longing" as you so aptly put it. If we can only overcome our many longings we may find the peace we seek. I battle with this aspect even though I know it be "the Way".
