A toxic moon ripped the rolling hitch knot,
A ship of sorrow and anger floated down stream,
Never stopping,
Only to realize that its life was only a bad dream

He sat in his chair,
In his cubicle,
In the giant corporate monster that consumed his soul,
His only escape he thought,
Was too great a toll

Powerful...this is really a great piece.

The way you move me
I walk with your shadow
With your silhouette
Leave the light on
It always comes
Back to you

Trapped.  I understand.  But where to find utopia?  Does it even exist any more?  Or did it ever?  Are we be brave enough to make our own?  And if so, can we?  Or do the rapids of so called progress run too fast?  Are we mereley swept down stream with the flow of the times? We can rage, but can we change?  And if not our surroundings, then from within?  Excellent write.

Susan
