Kenya Rain(To my future daughter)

The land of sweet honey
Beckons the love of life’s underground vestibules,
Those ancient ice rivers of blue and silver
Seep through whispered fissures
Silently quenching the thirst of bronze like parched meadows
Which seen from across the realm of beauty
Appear a fantastic palace of black diamonds and gold dust,
Dust that settles into a niche over paradise, waiting…………

A long time ago…
Somewhere under the auburn horizon,
Wandered the love child of a king and queen;
This child of the days beginning and nights end
Now yawns at the yearning of her gentle heart
Feeling the misty moisture of the dawn’s cool tears;
Empathy will one day be her gift to the world
But for now, she smiles in her sleep
And her dreams rain happiness over paradise…

One day…
An ebony princess will be born
And her bloodline will be ancient and sweet;
Her skin will be the color of black diamonds and gold dust
And her eyes will pierce deeper than the bluest fire.
It is said she will be the ender of pain and famine from the land
And she will love like no other before—
The heavens will name her, Kenya Rain.

And she will love like no other before—
The heavens will name her, Kenya Rain.

and she will deliver love and light, as she is already blessed by your words for her

Shivers...what a wonderful welcome to life.

Let my words fall first upon deaf ears before a closed mind...

thanks for the sweet words! There is no baby yet or that special woman, but I do know that when the time does come, it will be a girl and she will be a blessing!
