To Be Even Keeled It is the thought of what isn't that creeps into my soul, the pounding of my heart holding me back, as life is being sorted and the piles to the left of me are becoming weightier than wished. When nothing seems important enough and everything hinges on importance, each scream becoming louder from somewhere in the hidden past I can feel the anticipation of, the anxiety of, the strangling of, each day possessing me with nothing left behind. I watch as the living is made breathless, as the need to becomes lessened and the pains that run through my body are the results of ... and even that warm vanilla bath no longer has its affect on me. Oh, there is so much in this that I agree with, and understand...especially the vanilla bath. You said it all here, my friend...~S~ Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life |
