This diamond shines brighter still in my eyes
As though I sculpt or polish with these hands
It is thee that comes with constant surprise
Love brings all yet only what love demands

And through my care you shine the greater still
A star among this mortal flesh made whole
Honed and shaped with the greatest of my skill
‘tis art to handle such a priceless soul

The beauty of you still shines all the more
Precious gem as I gaze deeper within
A flawless work that need not be adorned
To do so would be the worst kind of sin

Oh how this diamond burns my eyes tonight
Yet I plead, do not extinguish thy light

There is a hint of sorrow, and a wash of tenderness in this write.
Will always be a favorite of mine.

PK, this is an enjoyable read, I love the flow and pace and the content of course.

What are you my god? You touch me like you are my god
What are you my twin? You affect me like you are my twin.

insightful words...once an artist has allowed the natural beauty and symmetry of these wonderful stones to flow...it almost seems sacrilage to see them set in anything other than light...Almost.  And how fitting that they be the symbol of what our hearts hold...

Let my words fall first upon deaf ears before a closed mind...
