Sweeping

The reaper does not sweep for me
He stands beneath the Eden tree
Coring apples making sauce
Keeping count of all the loss

Feeding change the tunes of time
Melting down the strange of grime
Cycling the wheat in sweep
Filling the abyss with reap

He does not stay he does not stop
He does not weigh the weight of crop
But cuts the thistle with the rose
And never ever does he doze

It is a job I would not care
Forever is too long a share
I’d rather be a flowers bloom
Then be the bristle of the broom

So think a second thought of grace
And be you happy with your place.

Your poetic mind is more brilliant than a mere moth could define. Those lines above are all the proof I need.
Randy says forget the sauce...we'll bake you an apple pie. *L*

*ww*

... and it's you ... you ... you ... you ...
the light changes when you're in the room.

He can't, he's working overtime...smile

Whata write/right as always, your poems are not only intellectual but filled with all kinds of thoughts rolling off that busy muse of yours.  Splendid!  Good good morning to ya
