The Shunning

They don't talk to me anymore
    Shunning is there weapon
Their tongues are sharp
  when engaged
patience is clearly eaiser
   for the young
But I am older now and rebellion
to meanness is in my control
Indivually they are different
but the three together are strangers
feeding evil and hurt to hide their
  insecurity
attempts at communication only serve
to feed the flames of comradeship
For them someone must always be on the out
  it is my turn now
I do not mind it is my gift to them
  it will insure their bond
and I will not suffer their negativity

"and I will not sufer their negativity"

~ nor should you have to, Dear One!

Beside, you are a part of Pip's circle of friends!

A terrible situation for sure, sad the way people can be so hateful.

Good for you!  I read this over and over smiling inside a little more each time...They wanted a battle, but before it started you had already won the war!

Let my words fall first upon deaf ears before a closed mind...

EA,

Thank you, you are so supportive and I'm happy to be part of Pip. I wrote this because I could not resist the lessons here.

JL, yes, I am reminded of a very wise prophet who said "Forgive them Lord, for they know not what they do"

Grover,

Thank you, I needed too.

Azblond, yes, yes. You must know them. You nailed it indeed.

Thanks
