Feathered Tones

Spirit birds with feathered tones
Echoes fly with hollowed bones
Bouncing written stones of rise
Crying out their awesome cries

Sailing winds of sallies course
Rallying a gray remorse
Breaking sates of echoes wear
Making weight of nothing there

I know not why the phantoms ride
There is no stride that I can hide
They wear away the stones and bones
With pounding echoes overtones

And in the storm that plunders me
I rue upon a stormy sea
The thwart is hid beneath dark clouds
And I am caught in hanging shrouds

I cannot subtle, wear and tear
Nor rebuttal the bones I bear

There was nothing hollow about this write except it allowed you to fly.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

Should thy spirited bird thus fly by words
following windy currents just to be heard
know, Sire, true, that I would to heart heed
not only the words, but those of your need...

"They wear away the stones and bones
With pounding echoes overtones" -- I absolutely love that.  This whole poem has a great beat to it and moves you through the emotions.  Wonderful.
