Dark rasping locks
tumbling over similar brows
reaching the pale
the long dead mess

I had forgotten

but

your remind me of wild horses
and that I am afraid of them

Still coats of shine
find me here
romancing in the freedom
of sunlight upon their backs

like I find myself
looking at you
in the rains
of an emotional day

knowing I should look away
makes this attraction vile

when nothing can be found

why do dark eyes haunt colder
than ones that lay open as blue sea

why do I ask
knowing I can only ever see so far
into black

you don't even show my reflection

in your pools

you remind me
of everything
I fear

and everything
I have loved

A deeper look may show not your reflection but your Destiny ...

... try blue eyes on for a refreshing viewpoint!

oh girl....I see my reflection in your words.
awesome write gem... love the metaphor and imagery. haunting angsty express. a moth keeper.

... and it's you ... you ... you ... you ...
the light changes when you're in the room.
