Read the words Slowly

I placed a rose besides her head
The thorns were gone the rose was dead
She sleeps within my minds unfold
It is a story never told.

She was a phantom of my thought
A dream a lonely mind had wrought
A fantasy in Shangri-la
Beyond the stars, beyond the far

I’ve tied a knot around the seem
A bide of ghost around the dream
And there the spirit waits desist
Before the exit of exist

And yet I cry a lonely tear
She was the essence of my steer
The answer to my rue and strife
She was my inner bloom my life

For me her sense forgave the toll
In the voyeur of my soul

I think you need a little cheering up after a night like that!

I do not believe that giving your phantom lady a dead rose would bring her back to you, so I am sending a dozen of the most beautiful and fragrant roses! Give these to her and this will awaken her spirit and your nights should surely become sweet again!

Sy, let's revive all that flower-power...
step in seam through nighttime hours
for the rose has lost its only thorn
and Randy's got him a brand new horn...

wonderful write...wonderful way to dream with the things that, no matter how real or how needed they are, never get to exist beyond dreams......
