His journey would begin with every dream already torn
And no one celebrated on the day that he was born
--He's just another loser. Just another loser--
The heroes now are aging. The foolish think they're smart
But no one pays attention on the Loser's day to start

Nobody sees him crying as he sits alone in pain
Ignoring that there is no sun to dry his eyes of rain
--He's just another loser.Just another loser--
The falling learn to fly.The blind man sees his face
But no one ever shows up on the Loser's day to race

Knowing clearly in his mind the things he’ll never get
He's running towards a dead end as he drowns in his own sweat
--He's just another loser.Just another loser--
The deaf man hears him calling. The cripple learns to walk
But still nobody listens on the Loser's day to talk.

Another cruel reality he learned so long ago
There's nothing he can offer to the friends he'll never know
--He's just another loser.Just another loser--
The weak have found new power. The stars escape the night
But no one comes to help out on the Loser's day to fight.

He walks around in circles just to get where he has been
Waiting for the next day when he’ll do it all again.
--He's just another loser.Just another loser--
The silent man is singing. The world finds romance.
But no one hears the music on the Loser's day to dance.

His heart is always empty, just a cold and constant bruise
Is there anything worth winning when there’s nothing left to lose?
--He's just another loser.Just another loser--
The weary finally wake up.The stranger's say goodbye
But no one feels like crying on the Loser's day to die.

Already been forgotten without ever being known
No one saw this light of God that faithfully had shown.
--He's just another loser.Losing pain and sorrow--
The angels are rejoicing. The gates have closed out sin
And all of heaven celebrates the Loser's day to win.

Oh wow!
I'm keeping this one in my library,
and I may show it to a few of my friends too,
is that okay?
This is excellent...
and, I'm sorry things are so hard for you
If this is about you that is, you have my prayers.

Always, Alyssa

He was a man of sorrows
...I am a girl of tears.

An intricate spin on the very things that build strong people...
Well done.

This poem was written by a true word mechanic. An excellent write which I really enjoyed.
