wherever I lay my hat.

As I walk beneath the morning sun,
how sweet the scent that lingers there.
The mist upon a distant hill
in ghostly spectre forms appear.

The song birds wake the silent hills,
their melodies unite so grand.
And on the grass the crystal dew
reflects the sunlights gentle hand.

The world awakes, a day is born
and tranquil moments do inspire.
A hope of all that's yet to come,
still fills my heart with sweet desire.

Easy to visualize this view you have poetically portrayed.
Very nice.
