Realms of Light

0 posted 2004-04-20 12:37 PM

With the last vestige of my inner strength, I turn away from the void that threatens to swallow me deep into its abysmal depths.
Icy tentacles of fear grip my tripping heart with each laborious step I take from the brink of no tomorrows.
Loneliness has been my constant companion for far too long and I beg for the glow of love to light my way home.
Yet the pull from the powers of Darkness threatens to overtake my renewed efforts to reach for the Light.
As my resolve weakens, I let go of my tenuous hold on reality and slip into the nothingess that is devoid of all love.
My scream is forever frozen in time as I fall in a downward spiral into the unfathomable pit of primal fear.

Dark, but nonetheless very reaching. Excellent write here. Well done...

Linda Lou, I hope that this is just your amazing writing,
and not the way you're feeling. I know how the fear
of the unknown can grip someone when they least expect it....
and keep them from doing the very thing that their
heart is telling them to do. It doesn't feel good.
Hugs to you, my sweet friend,
Ethel

vega ~

My very first car was a Vega! lol

I usually write about the Light and not about the Dark ~ but as they say, there are two sides to every coin! lol

Warm welcoming hugs,
