In Your Poetic Mind

Infinity dances—
at the edge of  petals--
vibrant like fireflies
unfolding time and space
of restleness with-out thought
beyond this:
the understanding settles on my shoulders

light the candle
the rising moon is full
at the horizon

so be it

tonight let us feel a
hush so deep --
such grace from  shadows --
listen the river is bending
all sounds-- music to me

the sky  this night -- will
lower its clouds
hand me the flowers
in dream and purpose
on  orchid  petals
edge the flame
casting all shadows over our  eyes

dance with me
and let the petals fall
where they will

my silence will not betray you
between starlight and dawn

the touch will remain

~~~~~~~~
~~**~~
The sound of silence calls,
I hear your voice and suddenly
I'm falling, lost in a dream
The echo of our souls meet
~~**~~
your heart with us, sweet friend.
By the way, I think I've already told you that I
love the new picture. That hat is so cute, too.
I tried to  pick out a favorite verse...and I can't.  They're all so incredibly beautiful...the imagery is phenomenal...rich, graceful, eloquent. Absolutely marvelous.
