...she left her window open...

Reprised rendition
solo play
tickling ivory
she sings the blues
low, throaty
with a scat of moans
soft cry of,
‘why not me’
seems the clouds understand
feel her pain...
Thundering
with an audible ache
matching her tune
and together
....they rain

a fitting pair . . .

(tho there might be a less
expected line than
"tickling ivory")

Beautiful Susan.  Such an ache..a longing.
Hugs~

Oh SEA gal, I have missed your poetry more than you'll ever know!

This aches, but is so true to form, and so pretty~

Sea,
I like how you tied in the low throaty voice with the sound of thunder.  It is a powerful image.  Enjoyed.

perfect harmony.....I sense this runs a little deeper between the words....

~~**~~
The sound of silence calls,
I hear your voice and suddenly
I'm falling, lost in a dream
The echo of our souls meet

This made me think of me, with my windows open during a storm..

Rain alone is poetry.

Lovely poem

I could hear the lowest octave E Major chord being pounded out with a leas melody fingered as the storm clouds roared.

Enjoyed!

sometimes I wonder where I am...
my muse has deserted me...
and often I wonder why not me
then I see your pic and then I wonder
why not me and SEA...

Thanks for remembering me
I peek in once and a while hoping to find my muse, I need some kind of distant inspiration
